Stir crazy already

This has been my view for most of the day today.
Mind you I was either looking at Schell's video of her scrap booking room or checking out Becky's blog (or any of the other 100's of sites I checked out today), but changed my laptop screen for the photo. I didn't want to play favourites, lol.
Isn't this so much better then yesterday's view, lol. I have my laptop on a table, Big Bang Theory on the tube, my cell and telephone at close range. Everything at my finger tips :)
Kristy should be happy. I got Heather to go and get this table for me, so I didn't have to prop my laptop on myself :)
Where there is a will, there is a way ;)
Please don't enlarge the photo, I don't have any make up on, wasn't allowed to take a shower yet and well.... just look like crap, lol.
I was doing pretty good today.
Last night it felt like someone was grinding their knuckle in my incision. I even took the Advil Wayne gave me, but it didn't seem to work.
Then when I woke up I felt perfect :)
I relaxed all day. Heather made me a delicious turkey sandwich for lunch. She watched TV with me, and kept filling up my cup with either peach juice or pop :)
Then when Hubby came home, I got a charlie horse in my thigh.
It went away, but now my incision or puncture site is tender again.

I am so pissed, as we were planning on going to our cottage this Saturday for over night. But now Hubby wants to stay home, just in case something happens.
I totally understand, as our cottage is 2 hours from town and if I was to bleed out, well that wouldn't be a good thing.
But I am so frustrated.

I know suck it up buttercup, lol.

Hope you all had a creative day. I have enjoyed watching your YouTube videos and checking out your blogs today.....see you all again tomorrow ;)

Tracy

  1. I had a very creative day today. I finished my envelopes and sent them to you a day EARLY!!! I'm so proud of myself. Now I just hope they don't get damaged in shipping. Everything is on lock down in bubble wrap. Forewarning, it's a big package.

I'm sorry you aren't going to get to go to the cottage this weekend but you probably are better off resting at home. I'll put up some blog posts so you have about 10 minutes of reading. I'll even post pics for ya!

  2. That's right Tracy, suck it up! You need to get better but, don't try to push it :0) You look all cozy on the couch there. At least you have your laptop, I would go crazy without mine for an extended period of time :0) Keep taking it easy, even though you may not like it :0) Hugs!!!!

LOVE Big Bang Theory, but missed it tonight because of pending projects mentioned in my blog. *sigh!*

  6. Tracy,
Happy to hear you are just chilling and taking care of yourself. Recuperation happens much more quickly when we behave ourselves.
And your hubby is just thinking of your best interest, as much as you wanted to go to your cabin.
    Take care.
I wasn't creative, but vacuumed and mopped some floors. The wild bunch were here for dinner to keep their nana entertained.

  7. Hi Tracy,
Trying to catch up on your blog posts. I'm down with the flu which is the worst timing now when we're moving and remodeling.
It's good that you had better news about your heart than expected, right? Take care and relax now! And Hawaii sounds dreamy. Wow!
Thank you for the comment about missing photos on my blog. I didn't manage to repeat that error but if it happens again, please let me know and I'll look deeper into the problem (i.e. ask my computer wiz husband. LOL!)
    Have a great weekend now!

  8. Just chill-lax my friend. I know how you love your time at the cabin but right now hubby is thinking correctly! How sweet is that? There will be plenty of fun days away at the cabin. Especially since you got the good news!
Ya look all cozy and yes I know what it is like to try to hold us type of girls down. LOL at least you have the laptop. I have to use the phone and it sucks trying to watch youtube on that!
I am off to play- even though it is 12:15. I will nap tomorrow at Mom's. I just needed to get away. We are getting on eachs others nerves. JOY! LOL
Rest up buttercup, this will be over before you know it. Hope it is pain free from here on out.
    hugs,pea

  18. You look adorable sitting on your arse there! :) (that's probably the best place for you) Wasn't Schell's video the best? I love her new room! I hope you have a good weekend and that you feel perfect again soon, my friend! :)

  19. Sorry you are going stir crazy. I'm the worst sick person in the world so I can totally understand how hard it is to sit there and do nothing when you'd rather be at the cottage. But you need to heal so let the fam take care of you! :) Enjoy your weekend and feel better!

  21. Well.....you now have it. Stay home for a few more days, rest, and listen to all of your household Nurse Ratchetts :-) They know you are important to them as well as to all of us.

You will be back into crafting and enjoying your cabin in no time at all. Now, try to figure out how to really work this stay in bed all day thing. You know, like send them all on house cleaning duty because of course you can't do it and those things need to be done :-)

Work it girl, work it :-)

  22. Oh Tracy I hope you are feeling better. And that you will be back to the things you love soon. I sent my envelops out in the mail on Tuesday. I hope you get them. The mail man said he wouldn't know the postage back so I included a check. If isn't enough let me know.

  23. Hi Tracy,
So glad they didn't find any blockages, you must be so sore. Hope things improve quickly and you don't get too bored. Shame you can't go to the cottage, but better to be safe than sorry.
    Take care hun
